Muchas series recurren a un episodio musical, que suele dar mucho que hablar a los seguidores (como es el caso de Fringe, Buffy y Bones). Más adelante ya hablaremos de estos episodios, haciendo un repaso por episodios musicales de diferentes series).El 31 de marzo le llega el turno a Grey's Anatomy, que contará con las voces de Sara Ramirez y Chandra Wilson entre otros, que ya cantaron en Broadway y Sara recibió además el prestigioso premio Tony de teatro.
Las canciones serán versiones de temas que se han hecho populares gracias a la serie como por ejemplo, Chasing Cars de Snow Patrol.
