Eva Longoria ha confirmado la renovación por una octava temporada y una posible novena y última. Esto estaría en concordancia con lo planeado por su creador Marc Cherry, que ya dijo que tenian en mente 9 temporadas, pero que hasta ayer no tenían aseguradas.
El problema como casi siempre ha sido el sueldo de las actrices, ya que se les terminaban los contratos y han terminado renovando con unas cifras que ya quisiéramos ganar nosotros.
Las actrices hasta ahora cobraban 325.000 dólares por episodio y el próximo año incrementarán 50.000 por cada capítulo por lo que la productora pagará a las 4 protagonistas 375.000 dólares.
Vanessa Williams no verá incrementado su sueldo debido a que al firmar para la actual temporada, lo hizo por dos años.
Eva Longoria además ha prometido un final de temporada que asustará y del que no puede soltar nada por orden directa de los guionistas. Espero que sea así porque aunque esta séptima comenzó como una de las mejores y me hizo olvidar el aburrimiento de la quinta, últimamente no esta brillando mucho.
En House esta pasando lo mismo que que hasta ahora con la serie de Abc, y es que son el reparto que acompañan a Hugh Laurie los que no tiene una renovación confirmada debido a que Nbc que produce la serie, esta pidiendo a Fox (que la emite) que rebajen los costes por capítulo bajando sueldos o con despidos, algo a lo que Fox no quiere recurrir.
Los actores no se han pronunciado, pero Jesse Spencer (Chasse) ya ha dejado claro que dejar la serie no le sería algo trágico porque le daría más tiempo para estar con su família y mudarse de Los Ángeles.

Sí, ya sabia la renovación de la serie, pero me uno a tu opinión que Mujeres Desesperadas temporada a temporada se va desinflando, a pesar que continuo siguiéndola a ritmo usa pero sin mucho entusiasmo. House nunca me ha llegado a enganchar, qué me aconsejas? Debería darle una segunda oportunidad?
