Aunque ya tendríamos que haber visto trailers promocionales, Terra Nova sufrió retrasos de producción y no pudo desvelar su contenido en la Comic Con. Ha sido ahora cuando se han lanzado las imágenes de la serie y fechas oficiales.La series esta producida por al gran director Steven Spielberg, y parte del equipo de Avatar, y se estrenará con dos episodios los días 23 y 24 de mayo del 2011 como avance, para pasar a emitirse regularmente en otoño en el canal Fox.
La trama se ubica en el 2149 con la Tierra devastada y la raza humana a punto de extinguirse. Un grupo de científicos son los únicos que pueden salvarla, y para realizar su cometido han de viajar 100 millones de años atrás en el tiempo. Así que veremos dinosaurios.
La trama no brilla por su originalidad, y es el nombre de Spielberg el que da publicidad a la serie, que ya se verá si merece la pena. En la Comic Con era la que más expectación causó y no se pudo realizar la presentación porque no tenían nada para mostrar.
Como consuelo es que si se parece a Jurassic Park, tendremos entretenimiento asegurado.
