Hay veces que es mejor hacer borrón y cuenta nueva, y eso parece que es lo que sucederá en la saga Terminator, en la que la tercera parte fue desastrosa, y la cuarta daba un salto grande a la historia que no fue del agrado de los seguidores. Es por eso que el proyecto conocido como Terminator 2012, que cuenta ya con Arnold Schwarzenegger en sus filas, parece que retrocederá al final de la segunda parte y podríamos volver a ver a la Sarah Connor original (Linda Hamilton), y a Michael Biehn como Kyle Reese, padres ambos del protagonista John Connor.La idea nos parece muy acertada, porque la historia es apasionante, y el punto donde cerró la segunda parte no la dejaba concluida y bien resuelta, prometiendo una tercera película que por desgracia no llegó de manos del mismo equipo.
Cameron perdió los derechos en su divorcio y eso dio al traste con la saga, que esperemos se recupere y nos devuelva la grandiosa historia de Sarah Connor y companía.
