Nbc emitió el 20 de diciembre un capítulo como avance de su nueva serie que comenzará regularmente en enero. Perfect Couples llega a la cadena para acompañar al equipo de comedias de los jueves, acompañada de 30 Rock y The Office.
Perfect Couples cuenta la historia del día a día de tres parejas de alrededor de los treinta años, amigos entre sí, y con tres tipos de relaciones dferentes (los enamorados, los histéricos y los aburridos).
La sinopsis ya recuerda inevitablemente a Friends y ahí esta el problema, que es una serie que ya hemos visto en todo.
Los gags están muy vistos y los personajes estereotipados (los chicos torpes, chulos y uno de ellos asustadizo, y las chicas confiadas, histéricas y que llevan el control de la relación).
En el apartado de los actores tampoco destaca, no hay ningún personaje con carisma que pueda llevar adelante la serie, como sería Sheldon de The Big Bang Theory o Barney de How I met your mother. Las actuaciones cumplen sin más con tramas muy sencillas, que tratan de dar alguna sorpresa cómica al espectador, pero que como mucho consiguen sacarle una sonrisa. Les falta arriesgar más con los personajes, pues pienso que es lo que puede llegar a hacer grande una comedia y que destaque, personajes como serían casi todo el elenco de Modern Family o sino, perder el miedo y aprender a tocar todo tipo de temáticas como Cougar Town, sin temer ser incorrectos, pero han preferido ser correctos y terminarán siendo uno más de la programación.
En fin, que es una comedia pasable, pero también es cierto que muchas comedias no me llamaron la atención en sus pilotos como el caso de Modern Family, y ahora me encantan, aunque como diferencia en aquellos casos si que se veía un toque de originalidad que en este caso esta ausente.
Suerte para la Nbc, que no levanta cabeza desde el 2005, pero me temo que con productos así no encontrarán uno que les de las satisfacciones que tenían en los 90, y un consejo, que quiten el perfect del título porque los críticos americanos se mofan titulando en sus críticas como imperfectas parejas.
Espero que mejoren en los siguientes episodios.

In the end, Is a correct comedy, but also it is true that many comedies did not attract attention of me in his pilots as the case of Modern Family, that now I love, although as difference in those cases if that a touch of originality was seen that in this case this one stays away.
